Oh, how I admire you for this article, Clare!

Measured, fair, civilized critique.

Unlike some in this movement- viciously attacking others for differing views.

Thank you.

On X, the talk is that the 'lab-leak theory' is a limited hangout and a fall-back as an alternative to the zoonosis origin. This dismisses the hard work and painstaking investigative journalism (Alina Chan, Richard H. Ebright and Alex Washburne in particular) put into exposing the lab leak origin in the face of very considerable resistance and downright nastiness from the virology establishment; people like Fauci, Daszak, Baric etc. If it is a limited hangout, then it must have been extraordinarily and meticulously well planned, because according to Washburne on X, these are the fingerprints which point to a lab origin:

Top 10 geeky, lesser-known facts of SARS-CoV-2 origins

🤓

1) The furin cleavage site is inserted in the S1/S2 junction, as described in DEFUSE drafts.

2) The furin cleavage site amino acid sequence - PRRAR - is found in another CoV (FIPV), and Ralph Baric admitted FIPV's were on their minds when writing DEFUSE

3) The wildlife virological studies proposed in DEFUSE required inactivating viruses prior to shipment, requiring infectious clone methods for resurrecting viruses in the lab. The 6-segment BsaI/BsmBI map of SARS-CoV-2 is consistent with infectious clone methods in every way.

4) The only time BsaI + BsmBI had been used before on a CoV infectious clone was by Ben Hu et al. (2017)... in Wuhan

5) The DEFUSE draft doesn't just propose to insert the FCS in the S1/S2 junction, it also proposes "6-segment assembly" and includes order forms for BsmBI

6) DEFUSE wasn't funded, but in 2019 all DEFUSE PI's were together on a call with NIAID discussing SARSr-CoVs

7) Fauci said the NIAID work was conducting serosurveys in China, but the collaboration included Ralph Baric, Ben Hu and others who are experts in infectious clone methods, methods not at all necessary for serosurveys.

8) The odds of an FCS in a wild CoV may be difficult to estimate directly, but the product of the probability of spillover and the probability of FCS given spillover can be bounded above by the high transmissibility conferred by the FCS and the lack of a prior pandemic caused by such a virus (if spillover were common and FCS's were common, the high transmissibility implies we'd see the virus)

9) The FCS makes SARS-CoV-2 a generalist mammalian pathogen, increasing the significance of the lack of SARS-CoV-2 in animal reservoirs (why did such a generalist pathogen evolve in humans?)

10) The D614G mutation implies recent insertion of the FCS possibly at the MRCA of SARS-CoV-2 found in humans.

What are the chances that these hard won revelations are just the result of the planning of a 'fallback' position? Miniscule in my opinion.

The measures caused more risk to the populations than any virus. What happened in hospitals and care homes is horrific, many vulnerable people were involuntarily euthanised no discussion, no agreement and no informed consent. It is very obvious that the medical and nursing community are as vulnerable to irrational fear as any of us but unfortunately due to their responsibilities they can cause severe and life threatening damage to their patients through fear and their "treatment protocols". If the pandemic measures are not properly and objectively examined and problems highlighted and resolved honestly then this is doomed to be repeated. It would have been better if absolutely nothing had been done which I find tragic, people trusted that they would be helped when going into hospital instead many of them died or were damaged because of the medical intervention.

Regardless of COVID as a real entity or not i don't believe it was.... THE FOCUS of any lessons learned should be on the RESPONSE protocols which unarguably caused enormous harms to ALL of society for a virus which predominantly was only very dangerous to max 0.1% of society. This was all known early on (May 2020) and yet the harmful protocols continued, even intenisfied. It was the protocols (advised by WHO) particulalry in care homes from March 2020 (even in Sweden) that generated the excess deaths but said to be caused by 'the deadly COVID' virus. Why? In order to pave the way for the mass mRNA experiment (ongoing) which itself then generated more excess deaths. A real sci-fi horror movie come to life !

I'm just glad i did not get on the train mentioned on LIVE TV by Jonathan Van Tam.

"i don't believe it was THE FOCUS of any lessons learned should be on the RESPONSE protocols"

I can't tell if you're suggesting we should or should not focus on the response protocols.

In terms of the NICE guidance, that was issued whilst the WHO were still in the 'cover up for China' phase (where they were still insisting the virus could not spread human-to-human).

Midazolam isn't anything new, I'm horrified to say - in-fact, some of the earliest reports of the abuse of it date back as early as 2012 in Scottish "care" homes. The Daily Record were the first to spot the drugs were from death row (I didn't learn of the story until 2022):

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/health/death-row-drug-fed-to-dying-1093688

State sponsored murder is historic, and has been a way of bumping off 'useless eater' classes. I'm confident SARS-CoV-2 was exploited by the UK government to kill off as many as possible in order to "address" the social care crisis. Notice how that vanished after COVID?

These despicable bastards...

Another pandemic will happen. Why am I sure? Because $100B profit by (just) Pfizer is too tempting to pharma. So ProfitDemic is sure to happen again. Also there have been exactly ZERO consequences for those responsible. The Dems are celebrating Fauci and GOP is pillorying Fauci. But no one is faulting Bourla et al. Why is THAT? Campaign contributions maybe?

The ONLY thing that might stop the next ProfitDemic is that as more studies about excess mortality as a result of the jab gets circulated, people will stand up and REVOLT if another mRNA jab is mandated. I, for one, will be leading the fiery but peaceful protest, at the head of the line.

Another dark horse? Absolute collapse of trust in the medical establishment - CDC/FDA/WHO/NIH you name it. It's the who's who of Big Pharma Marketing. And sadly, local doctors (in NYC anyway) are vociferously leading that charge. It will (hopefully) lead to non-compliance and outright shunning of any advice related to ProfitDemic.

I'm hopeful that we're already there (the collapse of trust). I'll be DAMNED if I take another shot mandated by the marketing arm of pharma - aka CDC/FDA. Never Forgive, Never Forget.

As someone who went through the 1st SARS and was close to the origin of the 2nd one, I found it very difficult to dismiss it as a nothing burger. Thanks to your very clear, concise but replete piece, I can see the whole picture much better. Others will have said similar, but I have to repeat that people like you are the light this world of darkness needs.

Wow. Just. Wow. You hit the nail squarely on the head. Congratulations. Your truths are many. The fear campaign was off the charts. That alone should give everyone pause because at no time has fear been the protocol for a cataclysmic event. Ever. You always tell people to stay calm. We got this. You’re going to be ok. But, no. They scared people out of their wits in order to control them and many died as a result. This was mind control with zero regard for human life. It disgusts me when lizards insist we must be prepared for the next pandemic. What pandemic? There was nothing natural about the covid pandemic. Just a fear tactic to force compliance to the state.

Very well written. There is a huge effort going on to detract from the likely fact that the initial covid spread was deliberate and specifically targetted at certain populations.

Some non biological factors supporting this view.....

There were two important documents issued in 2019 that indicate it was a well planned attack.

1. Blackrock issued a report mid 2019 in which they said a crisis was coming and their recommendations were for the FED to issue money to non banking institutions (rather than to the banks as happened in 2008). Lockdown was partly to stop all the injected money being spent and inflation going sky high. Instead it was directed to certain businesses like Amazon for example.

2. Event 201 in Wuhan Oct 2019 in which delegates were issued with specific instrutions as to what to do in the event of a pandemic of what sounded almost identical to Covid. This was where the use of ventilators was stated.

@JesseMatchey commented on Twitter

"I think if we start asking why West Exec Avril Haines was on Event 201 with CDC, George Gao, we may get somewhere. She also advised Open Philanthropy, which was part of the “Pandemic Collective”, a group of NGOs that had monthly calls about global pandemics, for the past decade The same George Gao that was part of Global Virome Project, based at the One Health Institute UC Davis DEFUSE was their solution (problem, reaction, solution), to being able to get the world to submit to this Carte blanche mRNA, Crispr, OneHealth was the objective…SARS2 was the buy-in."

Angela Merkel visited the German Lab in Wuhan in 2019.

People returning from the World Military Games held in Wuhan in Sept 2019 reported feeling ill with a unusual virus. They would have spread it to several countries.

That's just some of it there is far more.

The dangers of covid may not yet be fully apparent. The best bioweapons are slow to act. I would dearly have loved to say it is all behind us, but that is far from the case.

Prion diseases (5-10 yrs on ) cannot be ruled out.

We cannot rule out that covid itself may have increased cancer rates. Shedding is a huge concern (see link below).

This presentation given on 1st June 2024 to the Canadian inquiry is sobering in the extreme. Shedding does appear to be happening and therefore we are all at risk in different ways. Blood and tissue banks are not being protected.

https://x.com/hervk102/status/1797982431498117246

We have to stop giving any more mRNA shots.

We must have easy access to cheap Vit D Zn Ivermectin and other treatment options. For as long as injections are being given covid will circulate and excess deaths will continue. We have to break the cycle.

Playing down the harms is not helping us find the real perpetrators nor solutions to what is happening now and is to come. We have to recognise the full effect of the possible harms, stop the possibility of iatrogenic harms in future and stop another deliberate release/ scam. It has to be all three not just one of them. The alternative is bleak.

@Jessica Hockett Why would you offer advice to block the commenter, it seems like a very well reasoned analysis on the situation and the lead up to it. While we presume that humans with working immune systems will be able collectively overcome almost any pathogen even if manipulated in a lab there is also the real danger that some of the effects may linger and only come to light later.

While I don't agree with unfounded conspiracy theories that this commentator theorizes or the even more unfounded conspiracy theories that Jessica does I think advocating to censor, block and limit free speech of people who disagree is a mistake. If people like this account or Jessica want to propose conspiracy theories that accuse innocent people of planning harmful things then they should be able to stand being challenged & defend their claims. Censoring those who disagree in order to limit rebuttals is cowardly, IMO. Why not stand for what you believe in?
